2.25 inch button pins, made with Malong Batik fabric scraps from the Philippines. The texts on each buttons are individually heat pressed and embossed for added texture.

Batik is a traditional textile art form that originated in Indonesia, particularly on the island of Java and commonly seen across Southeast Asia. It is made by applying hot wax to fabric in intricate patterns, then dyeing the cloth. The wax resists the dye, creating beautiful, layered designs. This process is often repeated with different colors to produce complex and vibrant motifs.

Proceeds

15% of the profits from the button pins will be donated to the Molbog, Palaw’an, and Cagayanen Indigenous people of Bugsuk, Palawan (via SAMBILOG: Balik Bugsuk Movement) who are currently fighting against militarization, relentless threats, and forced eviction from their land.
